ROSE BORMANN MEMORIAL PARK
Rose Bormann Memorial Park, located on the northwest side of town, was established as a memorial for Rose Bormann in 2001. This park contains a large shelter fit for picnics, reunions, activities, and events. Electricity is available. The shelter is on a first come first serve basis. If you are planning an event, the city suggests posting signs in the shelter a few days in advance to inform the public that it will be occupied.
In addition to newly purchased playground equipment, a sand volleyball pit and two baseball fields are available to the youth. Restroom facilities are located at the north end of the park.
A recent addition to the park is a 4' x 7' concrete hippo statue donated by Heidi Schelske in memory of her mother, Kathie Neal. The statue is located at the southwest end of the park.
