Jeffrey was elected alderman of Ward II in 2011, a position that he has held since 2007. He is chairman of the Waterworks, Housing, and Ordinance Committee. Jeff is a local EMT as well as a Parkston Volunteer Fireman. He is also active in the community and was awarded the 2011 Volunteer of the Year award by the Parkston Commercial Club. Jeff, along with his brother, own and operate Murtha Repair in Parkston.
