NOTICE OF CANCELLATION OF MUNICIPAL ELECTION

CITY OF PARKSTON

 

            Notice is hereby given that no municipal election will be held on the 14^th day of April, 2015, in Parkston, South Dakota.

 

            The election has been canceled because the following individuals have filed certificates of nomination in the office of the Finance Officer for the position to be filled:

            Alderman Ward I- Dale Hofer, 2 year term

            Alderman Ward II- Jeffrey Murtha, 2 year term

            Alderman Ward III- Robert Bertram, 2 year term

            Mayor- David Hoffman, 2 year term

 

            Because each of the aforementioned candidates is unapposed, certificates of election will be issued in the same manner as to successful candidates after election.
