NEW HOUSING INCENTIVE PROGRAM

The New Housing Incentive Program is available to both individuals and developers and will be facilitated by the housing committee.  Funding for the program is provided by the Parkston Area Development Corporation.  The maximum amount available per project is $5,000.00  and we currently have funding available for two projects.  Funding is limited and available on a first come first serve basis.  The details of the program are as follows:

• $5,000 available to anyone constructing or moving a new, conventional, single family or multi-family dwelling on a permanent foundation, within the Parkston city limits.
• Sign up for the program at City Hall, projects beginning on or after 1/1/2013 will be considered.
• Program is open to contractors, developers, and individuals.
• Payment will be issued once water bill statement from City is provided.
• Special circumstances and flexibility of the program will be considered by the housing committee.
