The City of Parkston requires all dogs in city limits to be licensed. At the time of application, the owner needs to provide a veterinarian's certificate showing that the animal has been vaccinated and the vaccination is current. Cost of license is $5.00. All licenses, regardless of date of issue, expire on December 31.
