Parkston Municipal Airport

Congratulations to the Parkston Municipal Airport for being awarded that 2013 SOUTH DAKOTA GENERAL AVIATION AIRPORT OF THE YEAR!

The airport is maintained and operated by the City of Parkston.  It features a 60’ x 3600’ asphalt surface runway with runway lighting, beacon, and precision approach path indicator system.  Jet A and 100LL fuel available 24 hours a day.  Credit card payment only.  Automated Weather Observation System (AWOS) and bathroom facility are available.  The airport is located at the south end of Parkston.  Latitude: 43 22’ 39”.  Longitude: 97 59’ 22”.  Federal ID: 8V3.  Hanger sites are available.  No pilot cars are available. 

NEW FUEL SYSTEM INSTALLED

Parkston Municipal Airport new fuel system is up and running.  This system is equipped with two 5000 gallon dual wall fuel tanks.  These tanks hold two different types of fuel: Jet A and 100 low lead aviation fuel.  A credit card machine to dispense fuel is available 24/7.  Contact City Hall for current fuel prices or access the following websites to view pricing:
